Most amazing piece of history. A leather firebucket from the Roskilde Cathedral (CLICK ON PICTURE FOR A VIEW OF THIS AMAZING CHURCH). The bucket measures 12" tall and has an 8" top opening. Painted on the front "Roskilde Palais Bandlpander No 7". This represents that it was a fire bucket for the 7th fireplace in the church. On the back there is a crown with a cross on the top. Beneath it is and C with a 7 through it. This stands for Christian the 7th one of the Danish Kings. Underneath is 1770. Roskilde Cathedral a beautiful church and known for being the burial place for deceased kings. This is a true piece of history.
